OUR HOTELS, PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

We stayed at Le Cortecito on nights 1 & 2 - $80 per night (one room, 1 banos, 2 queen beds).
This included breakfast, and use of the piscina (pool). The coffee was strong and the leche (milk) might have been goat...?

The remainder of the trip, we stayed at Da'Tonino. We were here in 2004 and loved it.
This time we got 2 rooms, each with its own banos.
There was a store below, and the hotel owner was quite happy to make us really great cappuccinos every morning for 30 pesos each.

Our hotel - the property beside it had changed quite drastically since 2004. There had been a grass-hut restaurant there before but now it was condos!
(for sale in the $175,000-$300,000 range)
